How do I book my pup?

Visit our booking page and fill out the inquiry form! I schedule a meet and greet with all new pups before they come to stay for the first time.

What is in-home dog boarding?

In-home dog boarding is a service where your dog stays in the home of a trusted and experienced pet sitter while you're away. (That would be me 😉)

How does in-home dog boarding differ from traditional kennels?

In-home boarding provides a homey environment where your dog receives personalized attention and care, as opposed to a kennel where dogs are typically kept in separate enclosures.

What is the cancellation policy for bookings?

We offer a full refund if you cancel by noon 3 days before the stay starts.

After that, we provide a 50% refund on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that.

Is in-home dog boarding safe for my pet?

Yes, it's generally considered safe as long as you choose a reputable and experienced pet sitter who follows proper safety measures and has a safe environment for dogs.

What should I bring when I drop off my dog for boarding?

You should bring your dog's food, leash, collar, any medications, and comfort items like a favorite toy or blanket.

How do I know if my dog is adjusting well to the new environment?

We will provide updates, photos, and videos to keep you informed about your dog's well-being throughout their stay with us.

What happens if my dog has special dietary needs or allergies?

Inform us in your booking form about your dog's specific dietary requirements and allergies, and we will accommodate accordingly.

Can I visit the boarder's home before booking?

Yes we offer meet-and-greet sessions where you can visit our home, meet us, and see if this environment it's a good fit for your pup.

What if my dog has behavioral issues or special needs?

It's crucial to disclose any behavioral issues or special needs during the booking process so we can provide appropriate care.

What happens in case of a medical emergency?

We will contact you and seek immediate veterinary care if necessary.

Does my dog board with multiple dogs from different families?

We have the ability to accept up to 4 pups at one time in our home. We will do our best to communicate any cross over stays to all parents to make sure everyone is in the loop. We want to ensure the safety and well-being of all our pups first and foremost.

What vaccinations are required for boarding?

We will require up-to-date vaccinations, including rabies and distemper in all cases where your pups will come into contact with any other Lucky Pups Club guests. Be prepared to provide vaccination records. If you are not able or willing to vaccinate your pup ahead of their visit - we maintain the right to choose to refuse you service.

Can I provide my dog's own bedding and toys?

Yes, you can bring as much or as little of your dog's bedding and toys to make them feel more comfortable during their stay.
